Deborah Loones is the founder of Relocation Belgium. She has moved six times in seven years, has lived in multiple places in the U.S. as well as in different cities in Europe. She understands what it takes to build up a new life in a new country, and how to deal with moving companies, daycare centers, international schools, expat clubs and relocation companies. Moving back to Belgium, Deborah decided to use her personal experience to assist other international transferees. She started with a relocation business, but soon after started the immigration business. This enables her to be a true one-stop shop for her customers and a sustainable long-term partner. Most recently, she founded Living Belgium, which provides cultural training in response to growing client demand. Customer needs are always at the heart of her work, a wisdom she learned during her time living in the United States a wisdom she learned during her time living in the United States. You can find Deborah most of the time at the Relocation Belgium HQ in Ghent, and one day in the week in the office in Antwerp. As the company’s spokesperson, she also advises government institutions and organisations on immigration policies and is very happy to lend a hand to her consultants in the field where the journey once began.
