Deborah is the founding manager of Relocation Belgium. Her fascination with other cultures started at a young age. As a child, she dreamed of becoming a truck driver so she could travel the world. Life took a different path, but the international spirit never left her.
Deborah holds a Master’s degree in Business Economics. Having moved six times in seven years and lived in various parts of the United States as well as several European cities, she returned to Belgium eager to establish her own relocation company.
Drawing on her personal experiences, she knows first-hand what it takes to build a new life abroad; from navigating moving companies, daycare centers, and international schools to connecting with expat clubs and relocation services. What began as a relocation business, soon expanded with immigration services, supporting non-EU nationals with all immigration matters. This allows her to offer clients a true one-stop shop and to act as a long-term, reliable partner.
In response to growing demand, Deborah recently founded Living Belgium, which provides cultural training for newcomers.
Relocation Belgium has also invested in furnished housing for her customers, giving clients peace of mind while searching for a permanent home in today’s tight housing market.
Customer needs are always at the heart of Deborah’s work; an approach she embraced during her years in the United States. You’ll usually find her atRelocation Belgium’s headquarters in Ghent or at the Antwerp office.
As the company’s spokesperson, she regularly advises government institutions and organizations on immigration policy, while also supporting herteam in the field where her journey once began. When time allows, she enjoys traveling with her family.
